Hamamelis (lat. Hamamelis virginiana), biljka koja se često koristi u kozmetici i medicini. Osnovne info:

1. Vrsta proizvoda: ekstrakt biljke, obično u obliku vode (hamamelis voda) ili tonika.

2. Glavna svojstva:

- Umirujuće – smiruje iritiranu kožu, crvenilo i osip. 

- Posle brijanja, depilacije ili sunčanja smiruje crvenilo i peckanje.

- Zatezanje kože – prirodni adstringent, sužava pore i čini kožu čvršćom.

- Može pomoći kod masne kože i bubuljica jer smanjuje preterano lučenje sebuma.

- Smanjuje upalu kod akni, manjih posekotina ili ogrebotina.

3. Upotreba: tonici za lice, losioni posle brijanja, proizvodi za akne ili osjetljivu kožu.

- U losionima posle brijanja (kao Brion), hamamelis pomaže da smiri i osveži kožu posle brijanja, dok istovremeno smanjuje crvenilo i iritaciju.
